Hartcliffe Household Reuse & Recycling Centre (HRRC) Contract Award!

Encon Construction are very pleased to announce we have been awarded the contract to construct Hartcliffe Household Reuse & Recycling Centre (HRRC) for our client Bristol Waste Company. The contract will be delivered in partnership with our client Bristol Waste Company and SLR Consulting Ltd.

Civil engineering and building works will include:

  • Site Clearance & Earthworks; Bulk earthworks & Filling
  • Installation of new under-ground Storm & Foul water drainage, including attenuation features and flow controls
  • Installation of new under-ground Mains Services and associated services ducting
  • Construction of improved site access including a new bridge over the existing water-course ‘Pigeonhouse Stream’ (North Bridge – access)
  • Construction of a dedicated site exit including a new bridge over the existing water-course ‘Pigeonhouse Stream’ (South Bridge – exit)
  • Highways 278 Works along the existing adjacent A3029 Hartcliffe Way
  • Construction of new RC Walls to form split-level site areas, and material storage bays
  • Installation of new Weighbridge
  • Construction of new site hard-stand areas, car-parking & site circulation roads of concrete and tarmacadam
  • Construction of new steel-framed Re-use Building & associated works including internal fit-out and M&E installations
