The works carried out around current tenants, Coffi Co included: Replacement the decking with non-slip sustainable equivalent with warranty. Replacement of timber bearers, upgraded to galvanised steel. Decoration to the pier with the scaffold in place.

Replacement and upgrading of the lighting in keeping with public realm proposal. Being mindful of the marine environment, all fittings and fixtures was suitably rated.

The pier site works was over water so there was a significant emphasis on health and safety. The harbour authority approved the RAMS in support of the work before commencement. A solid barrier under the pier during the work was put into place. Whilst netting reduced the risk of falling as well as risk of materials or tools falling into the bay.
