Job Opportunity – Social Value Manager
(Salary £25,000-£45,000 depending on experience – pro rata 2.5-3 days)
We are seeking to employ an Social Value Manager to drive through and deliver our Social Value activity in Wales, South West and West Midlands. The role will involve a combination of working from our Cardiff office and across our construction sites.
The position is a part-time flexible role for 18 to 22 hours per week, to be spread over 3-5 days.
Duties will include:
Delivery of Social Value across our developments – community strategy development & delivery
– Monitoring and reporting of Social Value
– Client liaison
– Community Stakeholder engagement
– Social Value bid writing
– Social media liaison and delivery
– Supporting site teams with social value elements of Considerate Constructor Scheme requirements
– Supporting Encon’s CSR delivery, development and monitoring
The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering this type of role previously within construction. However we will consider candidates with transferrable skills and from other industries; and those who have recently completed their education but can demonstrate the skills and tenacity to undertake this position (training and mentoring will be provided by our Head of Social Value).
