Inspiring Future Talent Through Site Safety Awareness!
As part of Encon’s Future Generations Education Programme, we are proud to support a Site Safety Awareness initiative at our Former St John’s College site, in partnership with our client Cardiff Community Housing Association.
Last week, Adeel had the opportunity to deliver a Site Safety Talk and Poster Competition to Year 5 and 6 pupils at Ysgol Pen Y Pîl. The pupils explored the world of construction, learned about the dangers of building sites, and took on the challenge of designing their own site safety posters with the winning designs set to be displayed on our site hoarding!
From understanding PPE (personal protective equipment) to learning about the dangers of active sites, the session was all about making safety relatable, educational, and memorable.
At the heart of every successful project is a commitment to safety not just for workers, but for the wider community too. Outreach like this helps to build that awareness early on.
