We are very pleased to announce the opening of Phases 2 and 3 of our Pont ar Daf, Brecon Beacons project, creating an additional 60 parking spaces and associated drive aisles. On site, the dry stone walling and civil engineering car park works continues alongside the completion of the toilet block foundations and structural steel erection, with the Natsol compostable toilets on site awaiting installation. We look forward to showcasing further progress images of this breath-taking location as the project progresses.
The Pont ar Daf Car Park project is being developed in partnership with our client, National Trust Cymru and the project team – Catherine Etchell Associates, George Tomos Architects, Hollis, Stace, RV Williams and GGAT Archaeological Services. The project will provide a new and improved car park, adding around 200 more spaces, giving visitors access to a total of nearly 260 safe car parking spaces away from the busy A470 road. Disabled parking spaces will be provided alongside parking provision for minibuses, coaches and cyclists. Planned new visitor facilities will include toilets with disabled access, a changing places toilet, and baby changing facilities. Improvements to signage, footpaths and information will also allow people to better plan their day.
