As part of Encon’s ongoing commitment to creating a making a lasting, positive impact through our work at the former Cowbridge Grammar School site, we’re proud to support two incredible local charities in partnership with our client, Hafod.
Firstly, we are supporting the vital work of Vale Food Bank, who are tackling food poverty across the community. One of the current initiatives works from collaboration with local probation services and provides hot takeaway meals along with food parcels during weekly run sessions. It’s more than just a meal — it helps reduce the cost of cooking at home and ensures access to a nutritious, ready-to-eat option during difficult times.
We’re also proud to support Mind, a local mental health charity providing essential services across the Vale of Glamorgan. Our donation will help fund counselling, crisis support, advocacy, and wellbeing initiatives — because no one should face mental health challenges alone.
