As part of Encon’s commitment to leaving a positive legacy through our South Gloucestershire Council SGS Pegasus School Expansion project, we’re proud to support Caring for Communities and People (CCP) in their mission to prevent homelessness, reduce the impact of family breakdown, and tackle social isolation.
Through this partnership, Encon has contributed to an enrichment fund for young people in supported accommodation in the South Gloucestershire area enabling them to take part in activities that promote their mental, physical, and social wellbeing.
We’ve also donated towards the transformation of a garden space for care leavers creating a safe, welcoming, and tranquil environment. For these young people, having a private outdoor space is vital in supporting emotional and mental wellbeing. It offers a place to reflect, feel grounded, and take time for themselves, crucial elements in the journey of healing and building resilience.
This transformation represents more than just a physical change it’s a meaningful step in helping young people feel secure and supported. It provides a space for personal growth, connection, and a renewed sense of ownership.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this possible especially Daniel Chun, Cordell Ray MBE, and the brilliant team at CCP. Your support is helping to give care leavers the stability and opportunities they need to thrive.
Together, we’re building more than schools we’re building brighter futures.
