Proud to see this fantastic community mural come to life in Trowbridge following months of collaboration and engagement with local young people. As part of our Former St John’s College Site, we were proud to fund a community mural at Trowbridge Community Centre, delivered in partnership with our client Cardiff Community Housing Association and in collaboration with Cardiff Youth Services. Facilitated by Fresh Creative CIC, the project gave local young people the opportunity to help design and create a vibrant mural inspired by the theme: “What does Trowbridge mean to you?”
Through a series of creative engagement sessions, participants shared their ideas, experiences and aspirations for their local area, helping to shape a unique piece of artwork that celebrates community pride, identity and creativity. The completed mural is a lasting visual legacy for Trowbridge and a fantastic example of what can be achieved when clients, community organisations and young people come together with a shared vision.
A huge thank you to Cardiff Community Housing Association, Cardiff Youth Services, Fresh Creative CIC, and all the young people who contributed their ideas, enthusiasm and artistic talents to make this project such a success. Projects like these demonstrate that social value is about more than buildings. It’s about creating opportunities, strengthening communities and leaving a positive impact long after construction is complete.
