Transformation of Dafydd Williams Park, Caerphilly

We’re proud to celebrate the successful completion of the Phase 2 regeneration works for Caerphilly County Borough Council at Dafydd Williams Park.

It was fantastic to attend the official unveiling event on Saturday organised by the team at Cowshed, and see the transformed public space being enjoyed by the local community. The project has delivered significant improvements including enhanced public realm areas, new lighting, seating, play facilities and the stunning Town Relief Map created by artist Sebastien Boyesen, celebrating Caerphilly’s rich history and notable local figures.

The unveiling was made even more special with the attendance of Amy Dowden, who helped reveal the bronze-cast map that forms part of the wider regeneration of Dafydd Williams Park. The artwork highlights influential figures from Caerphilly’s past and present and provides a lasting focal point for residents and visitors alike.

A huge thank you to Caerphilly County Borough Council, the wider project team, local stakeholders and everyone involved in bringing this vision to life. Projects like this demonstrate the positive impact that collaborative regeneration can have on communities, creating spaces that celebrate local heritage while supporting future generations.

We’re delighted to have contributed to a project that will serve as a valuable community asset for years to come.
