A huge round of applause to our incredible project teams across Former Cowbridge Grammar School, Kings Lane Corner, and Former St Johns College for securing top marks on their recent Considerate Constructors Scheme visits! 👏🌟
These outstanding results reflect the dedication, care, and hard work shown by everyone involved, and we couldn’t be prouder of what’s being delivered across these transformative developments.
At Former Cowbridge Grammar School, following Encon’s successful construction of a bespoke bat house in 2024 and the careful demolition of the former school, the team is rapidly progressing thirty new apartments and four houses for Hafod — achieving a flawless 45/45 score along the way.
In Swansea, our Kings Lane Corner team has also achieved top marks, contributing to the next phase of the city’s Urban Village regeneration. Working alongside Beacon Cymru Group, QuantumCLS, Ridge and Partners LLP, Holder Mathias Architects, with support from Welsh Government and the City & County of Swansea, the project will deliver a six‑storey affordable housing development, innovative shipping‑container‑style business units, and vibrant landscaped spaces that blend community living with local enterprise.
Meanwhile, at Former St Johns College, our team has secured the highest score possible while delivering 58 EPC A‑rated homes for Cardiff Community Housing Association — a mix of one‑ to four‑bedroom apartments and houses designed with exceptional energy efficiency and sustainability at their core.
A massive congratulations and heartfelt thank you to everyone involved across all three projects — Hafod, Vale of Glamorgan Council, Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government, Cardiff Community Housing Association, and all our fantastic partners and teams. Your commitment is shaping communities, raising standards, and delivering developments we can all be proud of.
