Sustainability Education
As part of our Construction Education Programme, we offer local school primary schools the opportunity to take part in a Bug Hotel event using recycled materials collected on site and by the school.
The event is not only great team building event, but an excellent opportunity for pupils to learn about sustainability. Since 2021, Encon have introduced secondary school carbon literacy training and family orientated environmental sustainability projects.
School engagement projects have included creating eco-bricks from recycled materials and delivering sustainability education to local pupils.
