Caldicot Road Affordable Housing Scheme is a development of 16 affordable homes at Caldicot Road, Caerau, currently being constructed to WG Development Quality Requirements specifications.

The project was developed in partnership with our client Cardiff Council, and Strongs Partnership Limited, LeTrucco Design Ltd and Intrado Consulting Engineers. The site consists of six one-bedroom flats, seven two-bedroom houses, two three-bedroom houses and one four-bedroom house. The scheme is part of the Council’s housing development programme, which aims to deliver more than 1,000 new council homes in the city by 2022, and a total of 2,000 new homes in the coming years.

The project achieved a Performance Beyond Compliance Award for the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
