Works progressing well at Avonmouth project

Civil engineering works are progressing well at our Bristol Avonmouth Waste Processing Plant project.

The project is being developed in partnership with our client Bristol Waste Company and SLR Consulting, and is our second project for Bristol Waste, following on from the successful delivery of Hartcliffe Way Household Reuse and Recycling Centre.

Scope of works includes:
– Construction of a new 2,160m2 (23,250 SQ. FT.) Waste Processing Plant Building, Structural Steel Frame & Cladding on Piled RC Foundations, and associated External Infrastructure works.
– Storm water & Foul water & Filter Drainage installations site wide, including connections to existing SW & FW Drainage.
– Installation of a 1000m³ Storm water Attenuation Tank & associated Interceptor Units.
– Service Ducting installations.
– Construction of external reinforced concrete hard-standings and access roads, with associated perimeter kerbing and tarmac footways.
– Electrical installations to the WPP Building, including Solar Panel PV roof-mounted system.
– The WPP Building will be prepared to accept a fully automated Materials Recycling Facility.
